Lang Shining Chinese Painting Print – Imperial Portrait Horseback

Look at the Imperial Portrait Horseback first, then let your eyes wander. Lang Shining rewards wandering — a Chinese art print for framing with real substance. Think of it as the painting core on paper: a huaxin print, unmounted, for you to frame as you like.

From emperor to horseback to horse, the eye has a clear path through the image — a fine unmounted Chinese painting print. The margins hold armor, arrows, and arrows for the careful viewer. The palette leans bright — cinnabar, malachite, and azurite in good spirits. The portrait holds its sitter with the directness of the old studio manner. The horse is the emblem of speed and triumph in the traditional vocabulary. Lang Shining — Giuseppe Castiglione, the Jesuit at the Qing court — fused European technique with Chinese subjects.

It makes a small room feel considered and a large room feel human, a strong Chinese home decor print by any measure. Hang it opposite the window so the light finds it in the afternoon.
