Ten leaves, ten moods. Zhu Da's album-leaf print gathers a sequence of small landscapes — mountains, clouds, water — each leaf a complete thought in the artist's unmistakable ink language. Album leaves were the scholar's sketchbook and diary in one, and this set shows Zhu Da thinking aloud: a peak here, a dissolving shoreline there, the brush moving between assertion and retreat.

The ink work varies leaf by leaf, which is the set's pleasure — some leaves nearly empty, others densely worked, all unmistakably by the same hand. Clouds do structural work, separating planes of mountain and water. Even at album scale, Zhu Da's strokes carry their famous emotional charge: nothing decorative, everything felt.

Album-leaf prints suit intimate viewing — a study wall, a corridor where they can be approached closely, or framed as a group for a larger statement. The print arrives as the unmounted core only, with no frame or mounting, so presentation is entirely yours. A wonderful introduction to Zhu Da's landscape mind.
